Thanks for visiting Oakwood Recreation Center! Located ¼ mile away from the mecca of creativity and art of Venice Beach, Oakwood Recreation Center strives to bring community to the community by positively impacting the entire family through enrichment activities, sports and camps.
We offer a variety of programs and activities for community recreators. Aerobics, Senior Fitness, Books and Brushes, Piano, and seasonal camps are all available.
Our After School Club services Westminister, Broadway, Cour De' Alene, and Beethoven Elementary. For additional information on our After School Club and pick-ups, please view our seasonal brochure.
Oakwood Park Day Camp programs are offered in the Summer, Winter and Spring based on the LAUSD school holiday period. Please check our current brochure for information and camp dates.
The Oakwood Park Advisory Board meets on a quarterly basis. Meetings are held in the Annex Room at 6:30pm.
PARK ADVISORY BOARD:
Now recruiting Park Advisory Board members! Our Park Advisory Board is made up of volunteer community members who meet quarterly to discuss park events and activities, potential park upgrades, projects and improvements.
