WHAT IS LA CITY UNITED
LA City United is an elite soccer club under the Department of Recreation and Parks PlayLA program made possible by the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games designed to develop players to represent the City of Los Angeles at the highest levels in the SoCal and US Club Soccer leagues.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS
LA City United FC strengthens the Los Angeles community by ensuring that all young athletes, regardless of their financial circumstances, have the opportunity to participate in competitive soccer.
HOW LA CITY UNITED WORKS
With a focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, the club offers a comprehensive training program for boys 11U - 16U. The club participates in SOCAL Soccer Leagues and Regional Tournaments, providing players with valuable competitive experience. A girls program will be coming soon.
WHERE WE PLAY
LA City United trains at the Michelle and Barack Obama Sports Complex: 5001 Obama Blvd., Los Angeles CA 90016. As the program expands, so will the number of training centers across LA.
WHEN WE TRAIN
We will train year-round, two nights a week minimum. Leagues are generally during the spring and fall months. Tournaments are played once a month during non-league months.
FEES
Registration is $10 a month, includes:
- Player Kit
- Tournament Fees
Player Pays SOCAL Soccer Membership Fee: $30
As necessary: Referee fees when invite to scrimmaging at other fields ($4-$10). No fees when scrimmage on home field.
NOTE: Player must be a resident of the City of Los Angeles.
