Splash pads provide a water play experience for anyone with or without the ability to swim. They can be built in our smaller parks where a pool and its entire related infrastructure would never fit. In keeping with water conservation requirements, all of our splash pads must be recirculating systems. There are currently 8 recirculating splash pads in operation. Two additional sites (Hoover Recreation Center and Mason Park) are proposed for new splash pads, pending funding, and the existing Juntos Park Splash Pad is proposed for a recirculation retrofit. And splash pads are always free for kids and adults alike!
