Synthetic fields offer many advantages over natural turf fields, which require significant amount of maintenance, chemical fertilizers, and water. Synthetic fields enable round the clock playing times and a more consistent playing surface. When properly maintained, the fields last for many years, and their savings in water, maintenance and chemicals accrue significantly over time. Among our synthetic turf facilities, soccer fields are the most prevalent field type, but we also have synthetic baseball fields, football fields, and multi-use fields. As of May 2022, we have installed a total of 57 synthetic fields, with many more in construction, design, or with secured grant funding.
