The Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP)’s mission is to enrich the lives of the residents of Los Angeles by providing safe and welcoming parks and recreation facilities that are accessible to all. RAP is committed to providing affordable and diverse recreation and human services activities for people of all ages to play, learn and build community while being good stewards of our environment.
We recognize the importance of making our parks and facilities places where all individuals, regardless of their immigration status- feel supported and welcome. To help connect community members with valuable assistance we have compiled a list of trusted organizations that provide essential resources including those by their partner organizations.
