Recreation and Parks Volunteer - Proof of Vaccination Virtual Meetings

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP). On June 11, the Los Angeles City Council passed a vote sunsetting the COVID-19 proof of vaccination requirement for City volunteers. RAP no longer requires proof of full COVID-19 vaccination for volunteering.

All Department Volunteer Program application material is updating to remove vaccination requirement language. Volunteer Program applicants who submitted a volunteer application prior to the above effective date, who have not yet completed their proof of vaccination requirement, do not need to complete it. Human Resources is reviewing and updating all volunteer application records, evaluating the clearance status of applicants who have completed and passed all other volunteer application steps. Applicants can contact the RAP location/program they are applying to volunteer at, with any questions on their clearance status.
