Griffith Park Boys Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). It is a hidden crown jewel, in the City of Los Angeles, located in the heart of beautiful Griffith Park. We provide an exciting residential camping experience for boys aged 7-14 years of age. Weekly resident camp sessions are offered throughout the summer, from the end of June through the end of August, with session themes, and field trips. Camp fees vary between $200 and $275 per session depending on activities and the field trip. Our 2009 Summer Camp Calendar PDF, Registration and Enrollment Info PDF, Summer Camp Registration Form PDF, and Waiver Release Form PDF, will provide you with more information about Griffith Park Boys Summer Camp PDF. Sign up early, sessions fill up fast. Winter Camp sessions are offered at the end of December and the first part of January.

This Fall we are offering a Mother/Son weekend, date to be determined, and a Father/Son weekend, date to be determined, cost is $95 per person. These weekends are the perfect opportunity for parents to participate in activities like outdoor cooking, hiking, archery, the climbing wall, ropes course and crafts, while spending quality time with their child. We are also offering a Boys Sports and Halloween Celebration weekend, date to be determined for boys aged 7-14. The cost is $95 per boy. Sports is our theme, so join us for a weekend filled with sports and celebrate Halloween.

During the Winter of 2009 Griffith Park Camp Offers 1 fantastic session of Winter Resident Camp Registration Form PDF, January 5 - 10, 2009, cost $250 per boy 6 to 14 years of age, field trip Knotts Berry Farm. Boys can earn a Character Counts, Six Pillars of Character, Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship, Dog Tag or Bracelet. Spend an exciting week at our "Nature Wonderland", and participate in hiking, high ropes, low ropes, zip line, the climbing wall, crafts, nature awareness, campfire, and archery.

This Spring we are offering two Weekend Retreats PDFMother/Son Nature Weekend Retreat PDF, December 04-06, 2009, cost is $95 per person. This retreat is the perfect opportunity for Mothers to participate in activities like outdoor cooking, hiking, archery, sleeping in tents under the stars, the climbing wall, ropes course, astronomy, and crafts, while spend quality time with their son.

We are also offering a Boys Sports Nature Weekend Reread PDF, May 15 - 17, 2009, for boys aged 7-14. This cost is $95.00 per boy. Sports and Nature is our theme, the perfect opportunity for boys to join us for a weekend filled with sports and nature.


Boys who attend camp learn valuable lessons about friendship, cooperative living and respecting the differences of others by practicing the SIX PILLARS OF CHARACTER, Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. Griffith Park Boys Camp provides an exceptional value for both the first time camper and the seasoned camping veteran.

All campers are supervised by trained, experienced staff at ratios consistent with American Camp Association standards.


Getting Kids to Camp, Campership PrOgram

Through the generosity of the Amir Dialameh trust fund, we are able to offer some financial assistance to families who are truly needy and wish to send a child for a one week reesident camping experience. The amount of the assistance is based on family size, income and special circumstances. The Campership funds are to be used to help children who have never been to Griffith Park Boys Camp before. Applicants must be residents of the City of Los Angeles and meet other qualifications. Cabin Leader In Training Program (CLT)

This is a non paying cabin leader training program for boys 15 thru 17 years of age (age determined January 1, 2009), and costs $175 per session. Minimum two consecutive sessions required. Our CLT program is intended to enrich the lives of youth by providing an enjoyable and educational experience. The Cabin Leader Training Program is just that - a training program. Participants in our program will find the experience personally rewarding, will broaden their social experience.

And will provide the Cabin Leader Trainee (CLT) with a valuable learning experience, which can be utilized in future job interests. The goal of the CLT program is to help form reliable young teens who will take a responsible interest in the community and become a person of Character by practicing the SIX PILLARS OF CHARACTER. Come by for a tour and meet our staff, during one of our Open Houses PDF, 2 pm to 4 pm on March 8 and April 26, 2009. We will answer any questions you may have before you register your son for camp.
