• Swim tests will be starting up Sunday April 7th and be ongoing (excluding holiday weekend) until further notice from the facility's allowing us to use pools. Tryouts will be held at the following LA City Pools at the following times:

First swim test Sunday April 7th and last swim test May 12th

We have a few weekends of swim tests so if you don't pass the first time, come back and try again. Once the swim is successfully completed, the junior lifeguard instructor present will supply you with the registration link. Registration and payment are completed entirely online and can be found at the following link https://www.laparks.org/activity-details?activity_id=671122301. DO NOT REGISTER BEFORE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETELY THE SWIM TEST REQUIREMENT. Any person registered that is found to be outside the age requirement or has not successfully completed the swim will be removed from official registration.

Please be sure to leave your name (first and last), name of the new junior lifeguard, best contact phone number, and preferred email address with the junior lifeguard instructor before leaving your swim test. They should have a clipboard and paper to document your information. This will assure that we add you to our current contact list of junior lifeguards and that we can contact you if we don't see you on our registration website.
